There are so many reasons to get into teaching! We believe that the most important reason is the ability to have a positive and lasting impact on the lives of children and young people.
Our trust works closely with the Educate Group, an accredited initial teacher training (ITT) provider and we are actively seeking trainees who want to become either a primary or secondary teacher. This is a school-based route to becoming a qualified teacher (QTS) with the option of completing a PGCE that is validated by Leeds Beckett University. Trainees will spend a full year in two of our schools with one longer and one shorter placement.
Our trust also welcomes trainees from a range of other providers including Teach First, the University of Worcester and the University of Wolverhampton. We offer placements to both undergraduate students and those who are completing PGCE courses.
We ensure that all trainees are supported by qualified teachers who have completed additional mentor training. We are proud to contribute to the development of future generations of teachers.
